The onboarding process time schedule includes four dates that represent important events during the new employee's onboarding:

1. Onboarding Process Start
2. Contract
3. First Working Day
4. Onboarding Process End

• The four dates each initiate a phase of the onboarding process. They are therefore also referred to as milestones, as a phase transition occurs when a time schedule date is reached.
• Tasks always have a time reference to one of the four time schedule dates. The task status is determined by how much time is left until the time schedule date is reached.
