Since your d.vinci can be used across countries and thus also across time zones, users in different time zones require a match of the times of appointments and actions. For this purpose, we store all time-related data in coordinated universal time (UTC).

When retrieving this data, your d.vinci compares the time zone of your user access with the time zone of your browser. If these times differ, e. g. because you are on a business trip and access your user account from a computer with a different time zone, a message will appear and you will be asked to correct the time zone of your user account. This way, the saved appointment data can be displayed according to your current time zone.

Time-related data in the history is displayed according to the user's current time zone.

To ensure that all participants (users and applicants) are always clear about the exact time of appointments, a time zone is selected during appointment creation and the appointment is displayed accordingly. Users in other time zones thus see exactly the same appointment time, as well as a reference to the deviating time zone.

Reports are always evaluated in the UTC±0 time zone.

Attention

During user creation, the user's time zone cannot be selected. Instead, the new user automatically receives the creator's time zone and can change it later if the system detects a difference from the browser time.
