Correspondence templates are the content of the emails that you send to onboardees yourself. This is to be distinguished from system correspondence templates, which are sent by the system for certain outboxes.

This article concerns d.vinci onboarding. There is an article of the same name Creating a correspondence template for the d.vinci applicant tracking system.

You can create correspondence templates if at least one template layout has been created beforehand.


Create correspondence template


Required rights  

  • Create correspondence templates


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Correspondence Templates.
  2. Click on the button  Create. The  Correspondence Template input form is displayed.
  3. Fill out the input form:

    • Name*
    • Organizational Unit*
    • Template Layout
    • Language*
    • Subject*
    • Content*
  4. Click on the button Create to save the changes. The page Correspondence Template is displayed.

Copy correspondence template

You can also simply copy correspondence templates instead of creating them if you only want to make small changes to the content of a new template. System correspondence templates cannot be copied.

  • Create correspondence templates


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Correspondence Templates.
  2. Click on the name of the correspondence template you want to copy. The page of the same name with the details of the correspondence template is displayed.
  3. Click on the button  Copy to duplicate the template. The Correspondence template page with details of the new template is displayed. The addition "(Copy)" has been added to the name.

Note

Properties, content and attachments of the copy are identical to the original template. By clicking on the edit icon, you can edit the correspondence template and upload/delete attachments.
