In d.vinci, you can either delete or archive created job openings. Often, it is more practical to archive a job opening to remove it from the daily view without losing important data.
Caution
If you still need data (applicant information or reporting data) from a job opening, export it as a report before deletion. Deleted job openings cannot be restored!
Examples of reasons to delete a job opening:
- The job opening was never published and should not be included in the reporting.
- The job opening should be permanently removed from the system, and its data should not be included in the reporting.
Follow these steps:
- Open the page Job Openings.
- Click on the title of the job opening you want to delete. The detail page of the job opening will be displayed.
- Click on the gear icon. A selection menu will appear.
- Click on the option Delete.
- If there are still applications for the job opening, a notification will appear with a link (Show all) that leads you to the applications. Applications must be moved to other job openings before deletion (Change job opening).
- If there are no applications left, you will be asked if you want to permanently delete the job opening.
- After successful deletion, you will return to the overview of Job Openings.
Note on Archiving
If you do not want to permanently delete a job opening, you can archive it instead. Archived job openings remain in the system but are hidden from the daily view.
