Explanation of term

Applicant feedback is the name of a feature for measuring applicant satisfaction. After successfully submitting the application, you can ask your talents to provide feedback on the application process. They can answer feedback questions selected by you.

Configuration

See Getting Started with: Applicant Feedback.

System behavior

  • Module affiliation
The feature belongs to the Candidate Experience Module. You must have this activated to use applicant feedback. By default, it is activated.
  • Default feedback questions
d.vinci provides default feedback questions as form fields, which are pre-selected when creating applicant forms. You can also create your own feedback questions as form fields and include them in applicant forms.
  • System form fields
System form fields (cannot be edited or deleted):
    • Time required for applicant form (5-star rating)
    • Clarity of applicant form (5-star rating)
    • Job posting (5-star rating)
    • Career section of our homepage (5-star rating)
  • Editable form fields
Form fields (can be edited or deleted):
    • Suggestions for improvement (Text (max. 4000 characters))
  • Introduction text
In the system delivery, the following introduction text is displayed before the applicant feedback options:
“We strive to continuously improve, so we would appreciate feedback on the criteria below. Providing feedback is, of course, voluntary, stored separately from the application, and has no impact on the selection process. Further details can be found in our privacy policy.”
  • Extension: Feedback with kununu
An extension of the applicant feedback is Feedback with kununu. Here, the responses are transmitted to kununu and contribute to your kununu score.
  • Subsequent survey
Applicant feedback does not need to be selected on the confirmation page for questionnaires of the type application questionnaire. It is also possible to collect applicant feedback with a separate questionnaire linked to an application status and then sent.
  • Evaluation/Reporting
You can evaluate applicant feedback to get an idea of how your applicants perceive the application process. You can use the results to improve your application process and, consequently, the candidate experience. Applicant feedback can be evaluated in the reports Applicant Feedback and Applicant Feedback: Text Responses. Additionally, they can be evaluated via the reporting interface.

How our customers use this

Many of our customers send a feedback form primarily to hired applicants. However, it can also be worthwhile to ask for feedback on the application process from applicants who unfortunately could not be hired. Perhaps these talents also have valuable suggestions for how you can improve the process.
