Explanation of term
Status changes refer to the process by which applicants are assigned a new application status.
Configuration
See Change status / Perform status change.
System behavior
- Prerequisite
To change statuses, status transitions must be created. A status change can only occur if a status transition, assigned to a user via their role, allows the transition from one status to another. - Icons
We recommend using a unique icon for each status. This allows you to quickly see the current status of the application in the recruitment process. - Displayed Icons
Only icons for statuses to which the application can transition will be displayed.
If you use mass processing via the collection basket, you will receive a notification if a status change is not possible for certain applications due to the configured workflow. - Why a status change is not possible
Status changes require a status transition. If this is not set up, the status cannot be changed to another. - Performing a change
The status change can be performed manually or automatically via automated status changes. - Status change functionalities
When creating application statuses, you can select various options in the status change functionalities that influence the input mask during the status change. See: Application status - Comments
It is possible to write a comment during a status change. The character limit is 4,000 characters. When sending, all individuals who can view the application can be selected. - Reporting
Data on status changes can be evaluated via the reporting interface.
How our customers use this
Many customers have configured automated status changes that automatically transition to another status after a specific event occurs – for example, after a scheduled appointment time is reached.
