Explanation of term
You can view the status of the publication at a glance in the publication section of the job opening. This status is also influenced by the status of the publication channels.
Configuration
See Create publication.
System behavior
- Possible statuses:
- Active (green):
Indicates a publication that does not require further content editing or whose draft has been approved in the approval process. As long as the associated job opening is active and at least one publication channel is activated, the active publication can also be made externally visible, e.g., in the application portal. - Draft (orange):
If you set the publication to Draft, it will not be transferred to the application portal even if a publication channel is activated. External visibility must be established by changing the status to Active. - Approval process (light blue):
This status is active during the ongoing approval process. If the approval is granted, the status automatically changes to Active. However, if the approval is rejected, the status automatically changes to Draft.
- Active (green):
- Change status:
To change the status, click on one of the edit icons in the publication. An input mask will open where the status can be changed.
How our customers use this
If a job opening is not visible externally, our customers often check the status of the publication. This can be the reason why a job posting is not "online."
