Explanation of terms

On the login page, sign-in page or registratio page users can log in to their d.vinci via username/password or Single Sign-On.


Configuration

You can access the login page via login  via the URL of your system and the address part: /internal


Example

If you enter this URL the following page will be displayed automatically:
https://dvinciURLEuresUnternehmens/intern/auth/login

 

Behavior in the system

  • Login options
    Which login option (username/password or SSO) a user has is defined in the user.
    See: Create user 
    On the login or registration page, users can register via username/password or Single Sign-Onlogin.
    • User name/password
      As soon as users gain access to the system via username/password, they receive an email.
      This also contains the link to the login page:

    • Single Sign-on
      If you use single sign-on, please let your colleagues know the address of the login page, as in this case no e-mail will be sent by our system.
  • Forgot your password?
    Via Forgot your password? users can reset their password
  • Contact HR
    On the login page, the area Contact HR can be displayed. This refers to contact persons in your company regarding d.vinci. Find out more here: Set up contact HR

  • System notes
    We display system-relevant messages above the user name if required. For example, a note about the new release or information if a major error affects many customer systems.

  • News
    In addition to the registration, we show you changing news from the d.vinci world. For example, a reference to our onboarding or a registration option for our newsletter.

  • Design
    It is not possible to adapt this homepage to the corporate design of your company. 

  • Additional security query
    It is currently not possible to include a security query as part of the registration process.

  • General security

    If a user attempts to log in with their user data on the same computer in a session, the original session is terminated and the user who was previously logged in is logged out.


How our customers use this

During the introduction of d.vinci, the login page is usually communicated to all colleagues who are to work with the system by those responsible for the introduction. As soon as the user gains access to the system via username/password, they are automatically redirected to the login page if they choose their own password via the link.
The user can save this link.
