Explanation of terms

The system URL is the web address through which you access the system, your applications, job postings, and more, and where you can log in.

Configuration

When implementing d.vinci, you provide our customer service team with your desired URL, and we set up the system under this web address.

Choosing the URL

We recommend choosing an address that covers all your companies, as it is not possible to operate the system under two different URLs. Otherwise, you would need to pay for two systems.

Discuss this with your marketing team, as the URL can be important for employer branding and online marketing. Depending on the integration method, the entry point to this URL will vary. Additionally, it will be shown to applicants in all email communications as the sender address.

Technical Implementation

  • A URL from us

This option is free. The URL will always follow this structure:

    https://your-custom-name.dvinci-hr.com
For example, https://career-fruit-group.dvinci-hr.com could be a suitable URL if you're working with both Apfel GmbH and Birnen GmbH in the system, and both belong to the Fruit Group.
In this case, the following email address would be used for communication with applicants:
    candidate12345@your-custom-name.dvinci-hr.com

  • Your own domain

    Learn more here: Own Domain.
In this case, the URL could be something like career.fruit-group.com, if you're working with Apfel GmbH and Birnen GmbH in the system, and both belong to the Fruit Group.

Later changes to the URL
If you want to change your URL, this must be done in consultation with our Customer Service team, as further important changes to your system may be required.

How our clients use this

Many clients use a URL provided by us. Switching to your own domain later is possible but requires effort and an offer from us. Therefore, please carefully consider how the technical implementation should look in advance.
