TABLE OF CONTENTS

Explanation of term

The subtitle complements the title (called Position in the job publication) of a job advertisement with additional information.

Configuration

The subtitle is maintained in the job publication of a job opening.

System behavior

  • Field schema configuration
The subtitle can be shown, hidden, or defined as a mandatory field via the field schema configuration of the publication.
  • Display
In the job publication, you can maintain a subtitle for a job advertisement. This can be displayed using a placeholder in the job posting template (Publication - Subtitle; {JOB_PUBLICATION:SUBTITLE}) in the job posting and the job list.
  • Link length
The subtitle also appears in the URL/link to the job posting, which can result in very long links. Example:
    https://kunden-url.de/jobs/52136/ausbildung-kaufleute-mwd-fur-buromanagement...
You can adjust the URL by changing the page title in the publication.
  • Job boards
Subtitles cannot be displayed by all job boards. For example, StepStone does not display subtitles. Ensure that relevant information is also maintained elsewhere, such as working hours in the job opening. These contents are transferred via the interface to job boards, which display them accordingly.
  • Renaming
Subtitles can be changed at any time. These changes are also reported to external job publication channels. Whether the updated subtitle is displayed or the old one remains depends on the modification policies of the job boards.
  • Deletion
Subtitles can be deleted at any time. This is also reported to external job publication channels. Whether the subtitle is also removed or the old one remains depends on the modification policies of the job boards.

How our customers use this
