To embed YouTube videos in compliance with data protection regulations, such as in job advertisement templates, you can use a special link. This link prevents cookies from being set when the YouTube video is accessed. Specifically, it prevents tracking cookies that could override the user's privacy settings.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the YouTube video you want to embed.
2. Click the  Share button below the video. A window with various sharing options will appear.
  3. Click the  < > Embed button. A window with the title Embed Video will appear displaying the embed code.
  4. Scroll down and enable the option Enable privacy-enhanced mode. This will generate a new link in the HTML code above, starting with youtube-nocookie.com, e.g., https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/AABBCCDDEEFF
  5. Manually copy this link (not the entire code) and paste it into d.vinci where it should be visible to applicants. You will need the HTML editor for this. Typically, the video is inserted into the job advertisement template.
