You can use a special link to embed YouTube videos in accordance with data protection regulations, e.g. in job ad templates. This link prevents cookies from being set when the YouTube video is viewed. In particular, this prevents tracking cookies from being set that could override the user's privacy settings.
Proceed as follows:
- Open the YouTube video you want to embed in the HTML editor.
- Beneath the video, press the Share button. The Share modal dialog is displayed.
- Press the Embed button. The Embed video modal dialog is displayed.
- Activate the Enable privacy-enhanced mode checkbox. This will generate a new link that starts with youtube-nocookie.com in the HTML code above. E.g. https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/QRCFPGYeAuQ
