Explanation of term
The Help menu offers you various options for finding help regarding our d.vinci software. It is always accessible via the question mark at the top right of the header.
Configuration
The Help Menu can be partially configured.
Whether the Contact HR Department button appears depends on your configuration. See: Set up Contact HR Department
The other options largely depend on whether the permissio Help Portal Access is assigned to the user's role.

The Help Menu is displayed to all users regardless of their permissions.
Which buttons are available in the Help menu depends on the permissions and the configuration of your system. - Available options and their display conditions
These options are available in the Help menu if they are configured:- Contact HR Department

This option is available if the role includes the permission to access the help portal.
Clicking the button takes you to the Contact d.vinci page in the help portal, where you can learn more about how we can assist you. - Show Release Notes
This option is available if the role includes the permission to access the help portal.
Clicking this opens the Release Notes, Features & Additional Services folder, where you can find release notes and a feature outlook. - Open Help Portal
This option is available if the role includes the permission to access the help portal.
Clicking this opens the help portal homepage. - Show Help for this page
This option is available if we have set up a help page in the help portal for this specific page. It is independent of the permission to access the help portal.
Clicking this opens the help page in the help portal with information about this page in your system.

How our customers use this
Many customers have activated the Contact HR Department feature to provide their users with support options and to streamline requests. Additionally, many users who can also configure the system have the permission to view the help portal in their role. This way, they can see release notes and get help with configuration.
