Explanation of terms

The personnel number is an individual number that you can define in the onboardee. It should help you to identify onboardees without any doubt. For example, onboardees with the same name can be distinguished. 

Configuration

The personnel number is entered in the Data tab of the onboardee, in the Onboarding section.

The field Personnel number: is a free text field. Numbers, letters and special characters can be entered here in any order.

Behavior in the system

• The personnel number also appears in the Onboarding overview after the name of the onboardee.
• In the correspondence templates, the personnel number can be used as a placeholder.

This is how our customers use it

The personnel number is usually assigned by the accounting department. This number is then entered in d.vinci. Almost every company has its own notation.
