Explanation of term

d.vinci Connect connects your Human Resource Information System (HRIS) directly with d.vinci's Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This facilitates data transfer and reduces manual steps when creating employee records.


With d.vinci Connect, you can:

  • Connect HRIS systems to the ATS via an interface
  • Create employees directly in the HRIS system from d.vinci
  • View the employee number from the HRIS system in d.vinci

Configuration

You can activate d.vinci Connect yourself. However, please check in advance whether you can use d.vinci Connect. See: d.vinci Connect - Requirements (Checklist)


System behavior

  • Activation/Setup
    The setup is done through a guided process in the basic settings of d.vinci. The user performing this process needs the permission Edit basic settings.
    The setup process varies for each HRIS system.
    You will need some technical information about your HRIS system and appropriate rights to set up the connection. Details can be found directly in the guided connection process, which you can start via the basic settings.

  • Questions or issues
    Do you have questions about the integration or issues with the setup? Book an appointment with us.
  • Employee creation
    Once d.vinci Connect has been successfully activated, personal data from an application can be transferred to the HRIS system.
    • Data transfer during employee creation
      Personal data is transferred during employee creation via a form. These can be customized if necessary. Pre-existing data is pre-filled, and mandatory fields of the HRIS system can be completed. Creating a new employee is only possible if all required mandatory fields can be filled via the interface.
      Note:
      Changes or additions to the application are not automatically transferred to the HRIS system after the first transfer.
  • Employee number
    After the transfer, the employee number from the HRIS system is displayed in the business card/header of the application in d.vinci, provided the HRIS system provides it.
  • Technology partner
    To enable the connection between your HR system and our d.vinci Applicant Tracking System, we collaborate with our partner Kombo. Learn more in the d.vinci subcontractors.
