Portal tasks either require onboardees to take certain actions (e.g. sign the contract sent to them) or to perform certain actions (e.g. e.g. sign and return the contract sent to you) or inform you about the tasks you have already completed in the course of onboarding (e.g. about the completed setup of the workplace).


Required Rights  

  • Create portal tasks


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Portal Tasks
  2. Click on the button  Create. The input form  Portal Task is displayed.
  3. Fill in the input form:

    • Name*
    • Organizational unit*
    • Task Purpose*
      • Tasks for the onboardee
        • Have task completed
        • Get more information
        • Request information
        • Request confirmation of participation
      • Information about the finished task
        • Inform onboarding
    • Title*
    • Content
  4. Click on the Create button to save the changes. The Portal task  page is displayed with the previously entered details. Further settings can be made here.
  5. Click on the button Click to upload to add an image to the portal task if required.
  6. Click on the tab Attachmentsto add an attachment to the portal task if required.
    • Click on the button  Add attachment. The page Attachment is displayed.
    • Click on Browse.
    • Select an attachment. 
    • Click on the Add button to save the changes. The portal task page is displayed.

Note

In order for the portal task to be displayed to onboardees, it must be linked to a task template in a task package or task. In the task template or task, you can select when a portal task is displayed.
