Explanation of term
The collecting basket is a feature available on many pages, allowing users to add applications to prepare them for bulk processing and then move them simultaneously to a specific status. Additionally, the collecting basket enables the comparison of two applications.
Configuration
See Use collecting basket for bulk processing.
System behavior
- Localization
The collecting basket is located in the upper right corner on many pages, provided your PC has a program for viewing PDFs. d.vinci automatically detects whether PDF files can be displayed directly in the browser on the respective computer. If not, the collecting basket icon is hidden. - Add applications to the collecting basket
Applications can be added to the collecting basket via drag and drop: Click on the name of the application, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the application to the collecting basket icon. This works both within the application itself and in all overview lists. In the application list, multiple applications with the same status can be added simultaneously. See also: Use collecting basket for bulk processing. - Remove applications from the collecting basket
Click the "X" next to the name of the application to remove it from the collecting basket. - Bulk processing
Applications in the collecting basket can be moved simultaneously to a specific status, regardless of the page from which they were added to the collecting basket. In the Change status input form, all configured statuses are displayed. If a status change is not possible, the message "The status change is not allowed" appears. In this case, you can create a new status transition. - Compare applications
Two applications can be compared by dragging them to the corresponding field in the collecting basket. Then click on Compare attachments to open a page where the attachments are displayed side by side. - Persistence
Applications in the collecting basket remain as long as you are actively working in the system. After 4 hours of inactivity, you will be logged out of the system, and the content of the collecting basket will be cleared.
How our customers use this
The practical aspect of the collecting basket is that applications from different job openings can be added. This enables the processing of applications across job openings. For example, you can first collect all applications from different job openings that you want to reject and then trigger the rejection via the collecting basket.
