You can have yourself or your colleagues notified of expiring publications by scheduling the publication via the calendar sheet next to ON/OFF in the publication channel. 


Notification of expiring publications depends on four factors:


1.) Notification must be activated in the publication channel

  1. Open the page Job publication channels.
  2. Click on the job publication channel you want to be notified about.
  3. Check that Notification for expiring job advertisement placement is set to On.
  4. Set the Number of calendar days before expiration to the desired number of days.


2.) The notification must be activated for the user

  1. Open the page User
  2. Click on the user for whom you want to control the settings.
  3. Click on one of the edit icons. An input form opens. 
  4. Check that the following is selected in the Notifications section: Daily e-mail for Expiring publications and/or Expiring external job publication channels (multiposting). Depending on what you want to be informed about.


3.) Permission to view the publication must be given 

The user must be allowed to view the job opening in the user group of the job opening or as the responsible user of the job opening.

  1. Open the page Job openings.
  2. Click on the job opening for which you or your colleague should be notified. 
  3. Check whether you or your colleague is in the job opening as the responsible user or with the user group.
    If this is not the case, add this or check in the role whether the permission to see applications exists (without the addition according to user groups in the role.)
  4. Also check whether the organizational unit matches that of your colleague (the same or one below that of your colleague) so that a view is possible at all. 


4.) An expiry date must be set in the publication.

  1. Open the job publication.
  2. Check whether the publication channel is set to ON and something is entered in the publication period.
    If it is not set, at least an end date must be added.

 

If all this is given, the daily notification will also list the notification of the expiring post.
