Hiring requests have different statuses depending on how far along you are in the process.

The status finished means that the hiring request has been created and the button  Finish hiring request has been clicked. This can happen with or without a prior approval process. Our customers all do this very differently. 

In the finished status, the hiring request can no longer be adjusted/changed.
To do so, it must first be opened by pressing the  Reopen button.

You can also see the status of the hiring request by the symbol in front of the hiring request name.
