  6. Click  Update to save the setting.

Note

  • What exactly is the contrast ratio?
The contrast ratio describes the difference in brightness between the selected color and the background color of the employee portal. The better this ratio is, the better the legibility of your employee portal. Poor legibility is a barrier to use and leads to rejection in accessibility tests.
  • A good contrast ratio
Your color is always compared with #ffffff, the background color of the portal, to calculate the contrast ratio. A good contrast ratio is any number above 4.5. In the best case, your employee portal is displayed in high-contrast, barrier-free colors.
  • Message on color
A message appears stating that the color impairs the accessibility of the portal or does not contribute to accessibilityPlease discuss internally whether an alternative color can be used
  • You have the color in RGB format
Many websites offer a conversion from RGB format to hexadecimal format. Simply search for "convert color values".
