You can delete users at any time if they should no longer have access to the system. For example, if someone changes position within your company or leaves the company.
Delete user
You can simply delete users. If the user is inserted somewhere (e.g. as a responsible user of a job opening or as an approver in a hiring request), a window opens when you delete the user, with which you can transfer the responsibilities to another user. To do this, press transfer responsibilities as responsible user and select another user. This user will be stored instead of the user to be deleted.
If this window does not appear, no such dependencies exist.
Histories
In all histories, the name of the user remains after deletion. You can always see if an action was performed by this user in the past.

Lock user
If you just want to "lock" the user for now, then you can edit the user and change the settings as follows: Username/ Password: No. If you are using Single Sign-on, please set this to No as well. This way, this person will no longer have the ability to log into the system until you press Reset Password.
