Images uploaded in the media serve a specific purpose defined the selected media type. These images are only available in selection lists of the corresponding media type.
Media of type General Image are not available in selection fields. Each medium of this type has a unique fixed link that you can reference at any point using the HTML editor. This allows you to upload non-purpose images and use them in various places, such as in correspondence and format templates, application portals and job advertisements, but also in external places.
Proceed as follows:
- Create Media. Upload the desired image using the General Image media type. The Media page is displayed.
- Press the icon to open the link and view the uploaded image.
- Press the icon to copy the link into your clipboard. You can use the link anywhere in the system where there is an HTML editor. To do this, simply insert the link at the desired position in the HTML source code.
