Uploaded images always serve a specific purpose determined by their media type and can only be selected accordingly.
Images of the type General Image cannot be selected within the system. However, they have a fixed link that you can insert anywhere an HTML editor is available. This is useful if you want to use images in multiple places, such as templates, application portals, or job postings.
All other images also receive a link after being added to the media library, which you can use in the HTML editor.
Follow these steps:
- Open the page Media. The page with the same name will be displayed.
- Click the button + Create. An input form will appear.
- Fill out the input form. See also Create media/image
- Type: General Image
- Click the button Create to save the image. The page Media with the previously entered details will be displayed.
- Click the copy icon behind File to copy the link.
- Paste it into the desired location using the HTML editor.
