Existing appointments can be canceled. An alternative is to reschedule appointments.

Note

Canceling appointments requires at least one correspondence template with the Available at: Cancel Appointment. If necessary, first perform the Create Correspondence Template step. 


Proceed as follows:


  1. Open the application with the appointment to be canceled.
  2. Press the Activities tab.
  3. Click on the icon in the Appointments area next to the appointment to be canceled. The Cancel appointment input form is displayed.
  4. Select a desired template in the Correspondence template field. The Subject and Content fields of the correspondence template are displayed.
  5. If necessary, modify the text in the Content field. If necessary, use the Old Appointment placeholder row to specify the current appointment data.
  6. Press the button Cancel Appointment to save the changes. The Application page is displayed. 

The sent e-mail is saved in the application history.


Note

  • Appointment cancellations can be made by all users with access to the Activities tab in the application, not just the original appointment organizers. 
  • When using the calendar integration in the Plus version, the appointment booking link is disabled by the applicant after the cancellation and the applicant receives the following notice on the page that opens:
  • Sorry, the booking link is no longer valid. If you have any questions, please reply to the email containing the link to the appointment booking page.
