The redesign of the layout of your job listings and job adverts has been completed and implemented? Now it's time to cast off and get ready to go!


You can now make the new layout of your job adverts and job listings visible to the outside world at any time, according to your own schedule and independently of us. However, you will need to make a few updates to your system first.


1. Create benefits

In order for your new layout to receive the corresponding content in the benefits area, the benefits must be created. Please check this in the master data or create new benefits. You have already discussed with us whether you want to create benefits as text or with an icon and text.


2. Create new panorama images 

Create all your future header images in the width of the new layout (full width 1920px or container width 1170 px) in your media. We have already informed you of the appropriate width.

Instructions: Create medium/image
Important here: the type of the new medium must be panorama image  


3. Create a backup copy + optional: create further job advertisement templates 

Backup copy

In every redesign project, we implement at least one new job advert template for you. This is called, for example, „Standard 2024“. We always name the new job advert template in the format: "Standard" and the current year.
We recommend creating a backup copy before working with the new job advertisement template. To do this, simply copy the job advertisement template (steps 1-6 in this section) and rename it, for example, to „Standard 2024 backup copy“. This way you can always access the original should incorrect formatting creep into other templates. You should not change the backup copy afterwards.  


Create of further job advertisement templates

If you have not ordered any additional job advertisement templates from us, you can create corresponding target group or location-specific templates at any time as required. Experience has shown that this is particularly relevant if the job advertisement is to be tailored to trainees, students or specific job profiles.


The new additional job advertisement templates should be created based on the standard template.


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Job Advertisement Template.
  2. Click on the name of the job advert template that we have created for you.
  3. Click on the button  Copy. The page Job Advertisement Templates is displayed with the details of the copied job advertisement template.
  4. Click on the  edit icon in the tab Data.
  5. In Display Name enter a new name for the job advertisement template. It should indicate the purpose of the template. Example: Standard 2024_Training
  6. Click on Update. The updated job advertisement template with the Data tab open is displayed.
  7. Click on the tab Job Advertisement (Liquid Design) and update all the required content of the job advertisement template.

4. Update your active job openings

Active job advertisements must be updated in order to apply the redesign of the job advertisements to the active job openings. Before this, the changes are not visible externally.
 

Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Job Openings/My Job Openings. The page of the same name is displayed.
  2. Click on the name of an active  tender. The page with the details of the tender is displayed.
  3. Click on the name of an existing publication. The page with the details of the publication is displayed.Click on the  edit icon in the presentation area. 
  4. Choose a new job advert template for Job advert template and a new panorama image for Panorama .
  5. Choose any number of available benefits in the field Benefits .
    The benefits are arranged in the order of selection and displayed in the job advert. You can change the order at any time. To do this, press and hold a selected benefit and move it to the desired position.
  6. Press  Update.


Caution

The content maintained or selected in the job advertisement always overwrites the fixed content of the job advertisement templates.


5. Transfer of preview portal to the application portal

We have provided you with a preview portal with the redesign.
The settings of the preview portal should be transferred to the application portal with which you make the job list or the job advert externally visible. This could be, for example, the application portal "Homepage".


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Application Portals.
  2. Click on the name of the application portal that is to contain the job list or job advertising.
  3. Transfer the following content from your preview portal into the tab Data:
    Organizational unit, job publication channel, layout, language, primary language, functions (start page enabled, job advertisement enabled, questionnaire, application import).
    It helps to open the preview portal in a separate window and to tranfer/check both data.
  4. Click on Update, to save the changes.


6. Integration of the job list into the application portal

Once all the preparatory work has been completed, the code of the job list we have created must be transferred to the application portal in order to display the new layout of your job list there.


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Job Lists
  2. Click on the job list with the name "Preview". The job list with the set configurations is displayed.
  3. Change in the Properties area the Application Portal into the one that should display your new job list layout.
  4. Click on Save and publish to save the changes.
  5. Click on </> Embed in Website. A new window is displayed in the foreground.
  6. Click on Copy Job List Code.
  7. Close the window via the X.
  8. Open the page Application Portals.
  9. Click on the name of the application portal where your new job list should be displayed. The application portal page with the details of the application portal is displayed.
  10. Click on the tab Start page. 
  11. Click on the  edit symbol next to  Heading.
  12. Click into the field. An HTML editor opens.
  13. Click on the  Source button in the editor. A new window is displayed in the foreground.
  14. Paste the previously copied source code. For example, Ctrl + V on your keyboard.
  15. Click on OK. The window in the foreground closes.
  16. Click on the button Update all to save the changes.


7. Configuration check

Please check in your active job advertsisements whether the new layout of your job advertisements and job list is displayed correctly.
