Unless there is an automatic login via single sign-on, d.vinci users are prompted for user name and password to log in to the system.

When creating a new user, a valid e-mail address must be specified. An automatically generated password is sent to this e-mail address. When logging in for the first time, the user will be prompted to create a new password.

A new password must meet the following conditions:

• It has a minimum length of 8 characters.
  

  Attention

  The minimum password length may vary in your company. The minimum length can be set in the basic settings in the Security tab.

• It contains at least one number, one letter and one special character.
• It must not correspond to the password that is currently still valid.
