Explanation of terms

The security level prevents a user from assigning themselves or other users a role that has a higher security level than one of their own roles.

 

Configuration

You can select a security level at some points in the system. For example, when creating a role.

 

Behavior in the system

  • For example, if the Administrator role has the security level very high, then a user cannot assign this role to themselves or others if their role only has the security level low, normal or high:


How our customers use this

The normal  security level is usually used for roles such as line management, works council, etc. In other words, for users who can perform tasks in the system but cannot change any settings.
An administrator often has the security level very high, as they can, for example, reset the password for users with a lower security level.
