Explanation of terms

The User Menu is displayed in the top bar of the d.vinci software product and contains information about the user as well as some actions.


Configuration

The user menu cannot be configured. The displayed data is determined by the system settings.


System behavior

  • If you click on the image or your name in the header, a menu with various information will appear.
  • This information is displayed in the user menu:
    • Username
    • Organizational Unit
    • Button Language
      Here you can change the language of your system if multiple languages have been enabled for d.vinci by your company. See also: Change Language / Change System Language
    • Version
      The numbering always corresponds to the number of the latest release, as we continuously improve our software and apply updates directly to your system.
    • Button My User
      This will only be displayed to users if calendar integration is enabled and they have connected their calendar or are prompted to connect it.
    • Button  Change Password
    • Button  Help Portal
      This is a link to the Help Portal, where you are now if you are reading this. You will only see this button if you have the "View Help Portal" permission in one of your user roles.
    • Button  Sign Out


How our customers use this

The button Sign Out is probably the most used, but the other buttons also provide important access points.
