To be able to change from one status to another, you need status transitions. If there is no status transition for a status, you will not be able to change the status.


Note  

Which user can see the status is determined by the permission. The permissions can be bundled in a role.


Required rights  

  • Create permissions


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Permissions
  2. Click on the button  Permission. The input form of the same name is displayed. 
  3. Fill in the input form.
    Elements of the input form:
    Mandatory fields marked with*. Optional fields without marking.
    • Display Name*
    • Application Statuses
    • Task Definitions
    • Create all possible status transitions: Select this only if the user should be able to switch from any status to any other. 
    • Workflows
  4. Click on the button  Create to save the entries. The permission page with the entered details is displayed. 
  5. Click on the button  Application Status Transitions. The input form of the same name is displayed
  6. Fill in the input form.
    Elements of the input form :
    Mandatory fields marked with *. Optional fields without marking.
    • Initial Status*
    • Target Status*
    • Target Status Shortcuts: only appears when at least one target status is selected.
  7. Click on the button  Create to save the entries. The permission page with the details of the created status transition is displayed.
