Explanation of term

By creating various reasons for rejection, you can keep track of why a candidate was rejected. 


Configuration

Reasons for rejection are created in the master data.


System behavior

  • Number
    You can store as many reasons for rejection as you like.
  • Default reasons for rejection
    The following reasons for rejection are included in your d.vinci system upon delivery:
    • Job opening was closed
    • Overqualified
    • Underqualified
    • Salary expectations too high
    • Withdrew application
    • Unsolicited application: no suitable position available
  • Organizational unit
    When creating a reason for rejection, you must specify an organizational unit.
    The reason will only be available in the selected organizational unit and all subordinate organizational units.
  • Mandatory field during status change
    If the selection field "Reason for rejection" is activated for an application status, it is always a mandatory field.
  • Traceability in the application
    After selecting the reason for rejection during a status change, the last selected reason for rejection is displayed in the Application tab under Data in the Application section as Last reason for rejection.
  • Application Status
    When creating an application status, Select reason for rejection: Yes can be selected as a status change functionality.
  • Placeholder
    Reasons for rejection can be inserted as a placeholder(Application - last reason for rejection) in the following areas:
  • Visibility in correspondence

    Attention

    Applicants will see the title of the reason for rejection in correspondence if the placeholder Application - last reason for rejection is used.

  • Changes
    If you rename reasons for rejection, these changes will immediately take effect everywhere the reason for rejection is entered.

  • Deletion
    Reasons for rejection can be deleted at any time. If they have been selected for applications, the selection will remain active in the application despite the deletion.
