Explanation of term
Spam refers to mass messages that are not related to the application process and are unsolicitedly received in your d.vinci inboxes. Such messages often contain not only advertisements but may also include fraud attempts or viruses.
Configuration
The spam settings cannot be customized individually by you.
System behavior
- We allow every email to reach you
We do not use any spam filters or virus scanners.
The reasons for this are:- A spam filter could mistakenly block legitimate emails from real applicants, as every filter has a certain error rate.
- A virus scanner may not recognize new viruses if their signature is not yet known.
- Our security measures
- Links
To enhance security, links in incoming messages are not clickable. - Disallowed file formats
Some file formats, such as ZIP files, are not allowed and will be grayed out in messages. See Disallowed file formats - PDF conversion
Attachments from applicants are automatically converted into PDF files, which are always virus-free. However, users with the appropriate permissions can also download the original files, which could allow a virus to enter your system. See: Download attachments in original format

Recommendations for handling suspicious emails
