With the Candidate Experience module activated, you and the candidates can simplify the input of application data through CV-Parsing.
The data provided by the candidates in their application documents is read and automatically transferred to your application form. The candidates or you only need to check whether all fields are filled in and everything has been recognized correctly.
The photo is also read and displayed as a photo in the candidate's application. So, without any additional effort, you have a face to the name if a photo was sent or could be extracted from the resume.
Reading the data also affects the full-text search. For example, if candidates have listed the location "Hintertupfingen" in their vocational school certificate, you can find this location via the full-text search.
Note
In some cases, CV-Parsing returns incomplete or no results at all. This is mostly due to document formatting, unusual terms for career stages, or the file format in which the resume was saved. A Word document saved as a PDF does not cause any issues. However, if a resume has been inserted into a PDF file as an image (e.g., .jpg or .png), the background information of the content is lost and cannot be read. A password or write protection also prevents data extraction.
