After entering the wrong password six times on the login page, a user will be locked. Colleagues who have the right edit user in their role can open the user in d.vinci and provide a new password.
Locked users have a lock icon in the username column.
Attention
- You can only reset passwords of users who have a lower security level in their role than you. You cannot reset passwords for users who have the same security level. In that case please contact an admin.
- If the username/password login method is set to No in the locked user, the unlocking user is not shown a Reset password button because access is then controlled via single sign-on.
Proceed as follows:
- Open the page User.
- Press on the name of the user whose password you need to reset. The page User with the person's details will be displayed.
- Click the Reset password button. The user will receive an email with a new password.
