Explanation of term

Application statuses can be assigned the property Final status during configuration. The final status marks the end of the recruiting process and is particularly important for reporting.

Configuration

The property Final status is assigned to an application status during creation or editing by selecting Final status: Yes.

System behavior

  • Default final statuses
When the system is delivered, the following statuses are marked as final: Self-withdrawal, Rejection, Talent pool candidate, Hired.
  • Marking in the overview
If Final status: Yes is selected, the application status in the list of application statuses receives the badge "Final status." This makes it immediately visible in the overview which statuses are defined as final.
  • Archiving job openings
Only job openings where all applications are in a final status can be archived.
  • Editing archived job openings
Applications in an archived job opening can only be moved between final statuses after the job opening is closed. Alternatively, the job opening would need to be reopened.
  • Reporting
In reporting, the final status is important to display process times (e.g., from the receipt of the application to the final status).
  • Exception in the processing time chart
Final statuses do not appear in the processing time chart on the homepage.

How our customers use this

Many customers primarily use the final statuses already created when the system is delivered. However, some have also declared additional statuses as final, such as specific statuses for the talent pool, which can only be viewed by individuals with special permissions. Additionally, evaluations are often conducted using the Excel raw data report Process times.
