Explanation of terms 

Function groups can be selected in the Hiring Request. These allow you to enter the appropriate function group in the Hiring Request. 


Examples of function groups are: 

  • Managers
  • Employees
  • Working students


Configuration 

Function groups are maintained in the master data. You can create as many as you like.


Behavior in the system 

When function groups are created, they are sorted alphabetically. Another sorting is not possible.

Through the field schema configuration in the personnel requirement, the function group field can be shown and hidden, as well as defined as a mandatory field.

The function group can be used as a placeholder (Hiring Request - Function Groups) in job ad templates and correspondence templates.

In the application list as well as the application overview and Job Opening overview, there is no filter that searches for the function group.

An evaluation of the function groups is possible via the export of the Hiring Requests.


How our customers use this 

In many cases, customers with works councils use the Function Groups field to provide the work council with more information about the type of hiring request.
