You can store a reference number in Job Openings. If you have an internal job naming system, it can be mapped here or you can use the automatic reference number assignment to better assign Job Openings with the same name.


The reference number is a free text field in which both numbers and letters can be entered.

Manually assigned reference numbers can be changed at any time.


The field schema configuration in the Job Opening allows the Reference field to be shown and hidden, defined as a required field and assigned automatically. In case of automatic assignment, the numbering is done with the current year and a four-digit number. This number cannot be changed.
Example for the first reference number 2020: 2020-0001


Attention  

If Job Openings are deleted for which an automatic reference number assignment was activated, this does not reset the counter of the reference number. In your d.vinci, the corresponding reference number can then no longer be found. 


The reference number can be selected as a placeholder in the Job Advertisement Template and thus be displayed to the applicant in the job advertisement.


In the application search and the job opening overview, the reference number can be filtered.
