In some forms, you can determine how fields are displayed:- Mandatory field: The field must be filled out.
- Optional: The field can be filled out.
- Hidden: The field is not displayed in the form.
- Editing existing elements
When editing existing elements, the option to configure the field schema is not displayed. This option is only available when creating new elements. The new element does not need to be saved for this. - Note when creating new elements
Changes to the field schema configuration during the creation of a new job opening, publication, or hiring request should be made before entering text into the form fields. Otherwise, the fields will be cleared when you save the field schema configuration.
How our customers use this
Field schema configuration is often used during the setup of your d.vinci system to ensure that all users only see the fields that need to be filled out. Sometimes, changes are made later. These changes often require internal communication to inform colleagues about how to use the new field or why a field is no longer available.
