The creation date indicates when an application was entered into the system. This must be distinguished from the application date, which indicates when an application reached your company.
The creation date is automatically saved in the applicant and can't be changed. You can see in the applicant's history when an application was created.

An example:
A candidate applies to you by post. On Monday, the letter will be in your letterbox, but the colleague in charge is ill on Monday and Tuesday and will only be able to transfer the application to your d.vinci on Wednesday.
The application date would therefore be Monday, but the creation date would be Wednesday.

In the application dashboard and the application search you can filter by creation date. In this way, you can display all applications that you have created in a specific period. This helps you to check the work of trainees or new colleagues, for example.
