The main title is the title of the job opening.

Configuration

When you create a job opening, the main title is the name of the job opening.

Behavior in the System

  • External display
This title is not visible to applicants in job advertisements generated by d.vinci.

    Warning

Job boards can read this title and display it in their postings. So only enter data here that would be unproblematic to publish.

  • Display within the system
The main title is shown to you, for example, in the job opening overview, as a link in the job publication, and when creating an application.
  • Filtering
In the application search, application overview, and job opening overview, you can filter by position/main title. In this filter, you can search by parts of a title. All results containing this combination of letters will be displayed. For example, you can search for "er" and will likely get a wide range of results. You can also filter by main title. A selection menu of all titles for all job postings will then open.
  • Transfer to publication
When creating a job publication, the main title is initially transferred to the position field but can be modified.
  • Reporting
Reports on the job opening always include the main title. This corresponds to the job opening field.

How Our Customers Use This

Many customers supplement the main title with internal department abbreviations or the city if the same positions are advertised at multiple locations. This makes it possible to always select the correct job opening from the dropdown lists. However, please make sure that you only enter data that can safely be made visible to external people. For example, no sensitive or personal data.
