Explanation of term
When an email is sent to applicants for the first time (e.g., a confirmation email), an email address is generated for this application. This is displayed to the candidate as the sender address (From:). This is the Candidate Email Address.
Configuration
In the menu item Basic Settings under the tab Email, the Integrated Communication in d.vinci Applicant Tracking System must be set to On so that correspondence with applicants can take place directly in the system.
System behavior
- Candidate Email Address
The address is always: candidate-LettersAnd/OrNumbers@replaceWithYourSystemurl.com
e.g.: candidate-7b5rp874@demo.dvinci-hr.com. - Communication
This email address is systemically the anchor point for correspondence with applicants. Applicants reply to this email address. - Mailbox
The applicant's reply is received in your mailbox in d.vinci. It is also visible in the application's history. - History
The complete communication history is visible to you in the history of the application. - Spam and Whitelist
If emails from applicants are quarantined or marked as spam by your email server, you can whitelist the address on your email server:
Either withcandidate-*
(more restrictive, as only candidate emails are whitelisted) or from the @, e.g.:@replaceWithYourSystemurl.com
. - Further Usage
The Candidate Email Address is systemically present. It is not used separately and does not require special attention, as it is only the anchor point for communication with applicants.
How our customers use this
This email address is not used in the traditional sense, as it is simply a system element that enables communication with applicants. You do not have alternative usage options.
