You can send job advertisements by e-mail, e.g. to production sites for internal posting, to personnel service providers, the Federal Employment Agency or to commissioned agencies. This option must first be configured so that you can trigger the dispatch later in the publication.


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the page Job publication channels
  2. Click on + Job publication channel. The Job publication channel input form is displayed.
  3. Fill in the following fields:
    • Display name
      This is the name that will be displayed in the publication as a publication channel.
    • Organizational units
      Select the organizational unit for which the channel should be activateable.
      If you select the top level, this selection is always available for all other levels below.
    • Email recipient
      Enter the person who is to receive the email. 
      • Attach job advertisement as HTML in Zip file
      • Attach job advertisement as PDF file
    • Default value
      We recommend that you rarely set the default value to ON. If the default is on, it is easier to forget that you still have to trigger the job advertisement sending.  
  4. Click on  Create. The Job publication channels page will be displayed.
  5. Open the page Application portals.
  6. Click on + Application portal. The Application portal input form is displayed.
  7. Fill in the following fields:
    • Name
      This name is only visible to you internally
    • Organizational unit
      Select the organisational unit for which the application portal could be activated.
      If you select the top level, this selection is also always available for all other levels below.
    • Job publication channel
      Select the previously created job publication channel with the e-mail address
    • Layout
      Select the preferred layout
    • Languages
      Select the language in which the application portal should be.
    • Primary language
    • Enable start page
      If Yes is selected here, the contents of the application portal start page will be displayed. This can be the image, headline and footer. 
    • Enable Job advertisement
      Select Yes here. This will generate the job advertisement
    • Fixed Application questionnaire
      Select this if you do not always want to include a different application questionnaire in the publication.
    • Application questionnaire
      Select the specific questionnaire here
    • Interface
      Set to public so that applications can be received via links
    • Enable Google for Jobs
      No
  8. Click on  Create.


This completes all configuration steps and you can send the job advertisement to the email recipient.
