You can connect your d.vinci with various service providers. For example, with Appcast (redirect to external website).
Appcast allows users to distribute job advertisements to their network of job boards. Using programmatic technology, Appcast’s software determines which job boards will deliver the most qualified candidates and optimizes recruitment budgets to be spent more efficiently. 


How to prepare a connection to Appcast


Prerequisites

Talk to your Appcast or Stepstone contact to get tracking pixels for the application questionnaire/application form. You'll need it in step 3. 

 

1. Create a Job Publication Channel

Create a new job publication channel.

Display Name: Appcast


2. Create a Special Characteristics

Create a special characteristics in the master data.

Display Name: Appcast application

Acronym (max. 3 characters) ex: AA


3. Create an Applicantion Questionnaire

Create a new questionnaire of type application questionnaire.

Selectable in Job Openings: No

  1. After creating the application questionnaire, call up the tabs Intro Page, Form and Confirmation Page one after the other.
  2. Enter the appropriate tracking pixel from Appcast into the field Additional header In all the previously mentioned tabs. If you have not enabled the intro page, that's okay. Just enter the codes for the other tabs then.
  3. Make sure that in the Form tab, in the Application Form area, the How did you find out about us option is displayed.


4. Create an Application Portal

Create a new application portal.

URL Path: appcast 

If you want to target separate audiences, you can enter a different URL. For example: appcast_edu, appcast_pro 

Fixed Application Questionnaire: Yes

Please select the previously created application questionnaire here (step 3).

Application Import: Off

Special Characteristics: AA: Appcast application

Additional Hheader: <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">

This advises the search engines not to index the page and display it in search results. Applications are thus really received through Appcast and not through Google search results, which would distort the reporting.


5. Communication to Appcast

Copy the XML in the created application portal, in the Interface section. if you have created multiple application portals with different target groups, you will need to copy all of these XMLs and email it to your contact at Appcast.

6. Matching the jobboards/jobsites with your sources

Let your contact at Appcast tell you which sources need to be configurated.

Call up the Menu, the Master data and click on the Sources entry. Check that these job boards are already listed in the sources.
If not, recreate the source and email the internal name of the source to your contacts at Appcast. Also, please copy the internal names of sources you have already created and send them to Appcast.
