The application type indicates the medium through which a candidate has applied. You can assign this manually when you create an application. If the application is submitted using one of the application portals, the application is automatically assigned the application type Online. If the application is submitted by e-mail to your d.vinci, the application type Email is preselected but can be changed.
A subsequent change of the application type in the application is always possible.
You can filter by application type in the application overview and the application search.
For example, applications can be evaluate using a separate report with Type: Application Ratio and Category Axis Grouped by: Type of Application.
