Explanation of terms 

A release process can be started for a job publication. This helps you to ensure that at least a dual control principle can be applied to the job publication.


Configuration

After creating a publication, the button Start release process can be pressed.


Behavior in the system

  • When starting the release process, you can choose which recipients should release the publication. Multiple recipients are possible, but the first response will end the release process. You can also write a comment when starting the release process.
  • If the last selected user is absent (e.g. on vacation), continuing to display the button will ensure that you can send the sharing request to another recipient.
  • All users can be selected as recipients, who have entered at least the right to view announcement and publication according to user group in a role. It is therefore also possible that a user can only check the job publication - but not make any changes to the alert. Furthermore, a view permission on the job opening + job publication is required.
  • No task is created for the recipient of the release request.
  • The recipient of the release request receives an e-mail according to the following scheme:

    Dear Ms. Müller,
    the job publication "Position xyz" of the job opening "Main title xyz)" requires your release.

    Using the link in the e-mail, the user can access the publication directly and release or reject the job publication. In both cases, a comment is mandatory so that no wrong clicks are possible and it can be deduced whether the person releasing the publication really intended to confirm or reject it.
