Better | You can now copy job publications to more easily create job publications that are similar to existing ones. |
Better | Adding attachments has been simplified. In all products and software ares in which you can add attachments, the input form has been changed to become more intuitive. In this way, you can add attachments with less steps. |
Better | As a security measure, when changing the email address of an existing user, a notification mail is sent to the old address to inform about the change. |
Fixed | The permission Hiring Requests | view / edit / create / delete has been removed from the standard user-role Human Resources and added to the standard user-role Hiring Request Recipient. |
Fixed | A few minor fixes where dones for the new feature Feedback with kununu. |
Fixed | Control characters in the main title of job openings could lead to error in various areas of the system. |
Fixed | In the dashboard, the filter Status (of the job opening) has been changed and the option Closed for displaying closed job openings has been removed (because it had no value here). |
v2021.23 (12/2/2021)
NEW | Feedback with kununu Applicants can rate the application process they have gone through with feedback to be published on the employer rating platform kununu. The feedback helps improve your application process and gives other candidates insight into your company to lower the application barrier. Find more details in the help article Getting Started with Feedback with kununu. |
NEW | Technological Modernizations We are constantly working to improve d.vinci and also to keep it technologically up-to-date. Therefore, this release starts a series of technical modernizations that will be implemented step by step everywhere in the system. For starters, this modernization can be found on the Media page. When editing an existing media file, the future d.vinci becomes visible: the editing mode replaces the edit input form. That is, pressing the icon to edit elements no longer exits the displayed page to make changes in an input form. Instead, the page switches to an editinig mode and the changes can be made immediately on the same page. On the technical side, this is an expression of modernization in the background. But from the user's point of view, this also makes editing easier, as there are fewer page changes and loading times are also reduced. |
Better | The daily email sent to d.vinci users (if set) now also lists reminders of applications and job openings. |
Better | When sending job ads, the sent email now also contains the direct link to the applicant form in addition to the job ad details. If the QuickApply function is activated, the link leads to the QuickApply form accordingly. This way, job ad recipients can use the link directly and do not need to search for it first. When sending job ads, the sent email now also contains the link to the applicant form in addition to the job ad details. If the QuickApply function is activated, the link leads to the QuickApply form accordingly. This way, job ad recipients can use the link directly and do not need to search for it first. |
Fixed | Certain configurations may have caused the user menu to not be displayed. |
Fixed | Organizational units could not be moved if they had previously deleted sub-organizational units. |
v2021.22 (11/18/2021)
Better | On the Layouts page, there used to be a very long form for customizing CSS variables of the application portal layout in individual fields. Our experience has shown that only in rare cases, content was entered into these fields. Instead, in most cases, the free text field for manually entering custom stylesheets is used. Therefore, we have removed the single fields for layout customizations from the page, so that only the free text field for custom stylesheets remains. This makes the page clearer and easier to use for those who know a lot about CSS layouting and Bootstrap customizations. |
Fixed | An error was displayed when no correspondence was selected during the status change with time-delayed e-mail sending. |
Fixed | In some cases, when resolving the conflict of two applicants with the same name, an error message was issued. |
Korrigiert | When using online interviews with Cammio, it occured that the selection field for video interview templates did not work properly. |
v2021.21 (11/4/2021)
Better | For some areas it was found that users usually select their own organizational unit. In order to facilitate the work steps, the Organizational Unit field is therefore preset with the OU of the logged-in user when performing the following actions in the corresponding input form.
|
Better | The list of countries was expanded and now also includes North Macedonia. |
Fixed | When creating format templates of type Document, when selecting a file, the file name was not displayed in the Template field. (However, when the template was saved, the file was also saved, so this is only a cosmetic fix). |
Fixed | Users with the right to see users as well as to see user groups could still not see the associated users when opening user group. |
Fixed | Combination fields, i.e. fields with direct input and drop-down list, did not work correctly in some areas. |
Note | We regularly perform so-called penetration tests (pen tests) to check the system for security vulnerabilities. The company Certitude Consulting GmbH was commissioned to perform such a test. During this successful security test, Roman Ferdigg from Certitude supported us in discovering and fixing the following bugs. We would like to thank him for this effective support. |
Fixed | A security vulnerability was closed when exporting raw Excel data (form injection). In the course of this, the formatting of Excel table cells was adjusted. For example, a date has the format "Date" and numerical values are formatted as numbers. This allows the data to be used more precisely, e.g. when creating pivot tables. |
Fixed | Potentially malicious JavaScript code was prevented from executing when viewing SVG files. |
Fixed | Users were able to reset the password for other users with higher security level. From now on, users can reset the password only for those other users who have lower security level. Unless both users have the highest security level. |
v2021.20 (10/21/2021)
Note | As announced, support for the Internet Explorer 11 browser ends with the current release and with it the compatibility. After the release, logging in to d.vinci with IE11 is no longer possible. |
Better | When creating a new appointment, the appointment duration is preset with 1:00 (hour), as this is the most frequently selected call duration. This will save you time when filling in the input form. |
Better | Czech language was added
|
v2021.19 (10/07/2021)
Note | With v2020.18 (Sept. 2020) SSO has been completely revised. As announced, the transition period between the old and new SSO version ends with this release and the old version is no longer valid. All functions of the old version have been removed from the system. |
Better | Stepstone Quick-Apply enables applicants to apply with their data stored at Stepstone. To do this, they use a form whose content is transferred to d.vinci via an interface. Recently, Stepstone made some changes to this form. These changes are now taken into account by d.vinci, so that applicants can continue to use Quick-Apply to apply for your vacancies. |
Better | Jop openings can now be filtered by target groups, working times, and contract periods. |
Better | In the format template Standard Letter DIN-5008: Type B, the character limitation for footer fields has been increased. You can now enter more than 255 characters per field. |
v2021.18 (9/23/2021)
NEW | Reporting API With the new d.vinci reporting API you can transfer data from your d.vinci Applicant Tracking to business intelligence tools to create extensive reportings. Find all informations in the Guide — Getting mit Started with Reporting API. NoteIf you would like to know more about business intelligence and the possibilities of extensive reporting, we are happy to advise you! Book a free consultation appointment now. |
Better | You can change the organizational unit when editing existing locations (master data). The change does not affect existing job openings in which the location is selected (e.g. as a job location). However, if the location is removed from the job opening, it can only be added back if the new organizational unit of the location allows it. In this way, you can recreate changes in your company reality in the system. |
Better | On the Job Openings page only such multiposting job publications are publicized that are either active or have not been inactive for more than two week. Multiposting job publications that have been inactive for more than two weeks are hidden. This prevents the list of multiposting job publications per job opening from becoming unnecessarily long. |
Fixed | In hiring requests, the filter Approver could be hidden depending on the field-schema configuration. |
v2021.17 (9/9/2021)
NEW | Invite Multiple Applicants to Individual Appointments You can perform a single application status change to invite multiple applicants to individual subsequent appointments at the same day. |
Better | The country Finland now has its own address format. |
Note | In the basic settings, the Online Interview tab was renamed to Partner Integrations. From now on, licenses and configurations for features of third-party companies that are partners with d.vinci will be managed here. |
Fixed | When using the HTML editor in full-screen mode, contents where not displayed correctly. |
v2021.16 (8/26/2021)
Note | We are currently working on the development of a reporting interface. This will make it possible to share extensive reporting data with external systems. Primarily, it will allow for business intelligence systems to use d.vinci's reporting data for graphical visualization and deep analysis. |
v2021.15 (12/8/2021)
NEU | Export Users to Excel Files With the right to view applications, you can now export users to analyize them and check their permissions. |
Better | When created, each application receives a randomly generated mailbox address, the so-called candidate address. The character strings used in this address are usually random arrangements of letters and numbers with no discernible meaning. However, it could happen in extremely rare cases that, purely by chance, actual words were generated that are understandable for equally random languages. Since the mailbox address is visible to applicants in the course of email communication, legible words could cause irritation if meaning is attributed to them. For this reason, mailbox addresses are now generated in a way that should preclude the emergence of intelligible words in any human language. |
Better | Experience shows that users usually create elements for their own country. For this reason and from now on, when creating applications or locations and company master data, the Country field is preselected with the country of the organizational unit of the user who is creating the element. This applies only, if the user's organizational unit actually has a country assigned. This saves you the step of selecting you own country everytime you create an element. |
Better | In the d.vinci HTML editor, all functions are now translated into all languages. This is relevant for systems used abroad, where for certain languages the HTML Editor functions were displayed only in English. |
Fixed | It could occur that even though an application was saved correctly, an error message was output stating that the application could not be saved. |
v2021.14 (7/29/2021)
NEW | Status Changes with Confidential Information It may happen that confidential documents and/or messages are generated during a status change, e.g. employment contracts or messages with sensitive content. Such documents are also displayed in the application history, where they are also visible to users who should not see this data. Therefore, there is a new Confidential Information field in the application status. If this property is enabled, comments made during status change and documents and messages generated are treated as confidential information. Confidential information is displayed in the application history only for users with the right to see confidential information of applications. |
NEW | Move Companies In the master data, you can now edit the organizational unit of existing companies. |
Better | The dashboard performance has been improved in data heavy systems by no longer loading all data simultaneously, but in portions. |
Better | When sending an Invitation with MS Teams Meeting, it may happen that the message text does not contain a placeholder for generating an MS teams meeting link. On the other hand, it can happen that the message text contains a placeholder for generating an MS teams meeting link, despite not being an invitation to an MS teams meeting. In order to point out such errors before the message is sent, an error message is output in corresponding cases. This prevents misunderstandings in the communication with applicants. |
Better | If a field in a feedback form with a character limitation of 4-120 characters is filled with less ore more than the allowed number of characters, the field becomes red. This indicates to the person filling in the form, that they need to change the text. |
Fixed | When exporting application lists to Excel, an error message was issued if the Excel file had more than 100 entries. |
Fixed | In the report Number of Received Applications it could happen that applications received were entered for the wrong month due to time zone shifts. Therefore, from now on, data in reports will be output with the time zone UTC+0 (without time difference to the coordinated world time). For existing old data, the time information will change accordingly in the reports. |
Fixed | Job openings could not be filtered by the responsible user. |
Fixed | The confirmation email for the approval of a hiring request also includes comments from the approvers. If an approver changed their own comment, e.g. in the course of an approval process restart, the confirmation email still displayed the old comment. |
Fixed | You can specify a logo URL path in the job ad template layout and assign the job ad template to application portals and/or job publications. When you press the logo, the logo URL path is invoked. For example, the logo for Company A can be assigned a link to its own website. If the application portal and job publication use different job ad templates, the job publication's job ad template is preferred. Nevertheless, in this case, the logo URL path of the application portal was used. This could result, for example, in the logo for Company A (job publication layout) being linked to Company B's website (portal layout). |
v2021.13 (7/15/2021)
Note | The browsers Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge (Legacy) will no longer be supported from September 2021. Starting September, we recommend using a current browser for using d.vinci. Find more information on supported browsers in the help article |
Better | Hiring request submitters are informed via email about hiring requests that have been approved. The email has been expanded and now contains a approver list including the name and last comment of each approver. This allows hiring request submitters to view at a glance, who has approved and what comments they have made. |
Better | When solving a conflict between two or more applicants with the same name, if those applicants are recognized as the same person, they can be merged to become one person. When merging, the email address of the last application received is used for the merged person. Merging non-identical persons may cause privacy issues if sensitive information of one person is sent to the email address of another. For this reason, a warning is now displayed during conflict resolution to point out this danger. This is intended to increase the data protection sensitivity of d.vinci users. |
Better | When changing the status of one ore more applications to a final status, for each application the submission date is displayed. The submission date shows how long the application has been in the application process, so that the correspondence text can be adjusted if necessary. |
Better | If users move an application to a job opening for which they do not have viewing rights, they will no longer be able to see the application. To avoid confusion about whether the move was successful, a success message is displayed. |
Better | The languages Hungarian, Romanian and Brazilian-Portuguese are now also available in the d.vinci JavaScript widget for embedding job ads in websites. |
Fixed | The Send Job Advertisement button was displayed even if the necessary right was not available. From now on, the button will be displayed only if the right to post job publications is available. |
Fixed | When editing a User, the User Groups field did also display user groups that did not match the user's organizational unit. This has been changed so that now only matching user groups are available for selection. |
Fixed | An error could occur when exporting large numbers of applications from the applicant list to Excel. |
Fixed | It could happen that users could not assert their rights to subordinate organizational units if there was another organizational level without an organizational unit between their own and the subordinate organizational unit. |
v2021.12 (7/1/2021)
Better | Using form fields you can expand job openings, hiring requests, and questionnaires with custom fields. The following improvements make form fields easier to use and understand:
|
Better | On the Dashboard page, each applicant list displays now contains the icon for opening the associated job opening. This way you can get to the job opening faster if you want to view its details. |
Better | When downloading an application using the Open All Attachments button, the downloaded PDF file is now fully named. Instead of "document.pdf", the file name now includes the current date and the applicant's name. When downloading multiple applications or the same application on different days (and thus possibly in different versions), you can now identify the file better. |
Better | In the input form for creating organizational units and screening questions, the Create and Create Another button is now displayed. This allows you to create several objects in succession more quickly and saves unnecessary intermediate steps. |
Fixed | You can create multiple application portals. To distinguish between them, you can specify a name in the URL Path field when creating an application portal, which is to be used in the URL path of the portal. The name jobs is not possible for technical reasons. Until now, however, it was not prevented by the system and an error message was only issued when attempting to open the portal. To prevent this, the name jobs is now marked as an invalid value when the portal is created. |
v2021.11 (6/16/2021)
NEW | Desired Job Locations of Job Opening You can select desired job locations in the job opening. The selected job locations are displayed in questionnaires of the job opening's job publication. |
NEW | Transfer Screening Questions via API The API for applications can now be used to read the job opening's screening questions and display them in your own application form. Accordingly you can transfer your applicant's screening question answers to d.vinci via the same API. |
Better | For each user you can now see which application statuses the user is allowed to view and which status changes they may conduct. To do so, the user administration page for each user has the button Application Permissions. Here, the following information is displayed:
|
Better | When opening roles, all contained permissions are linked if they contain additional information. In this way you can check permission contents from within a role. |
Better | In the permissions list all entries that contain application statuses or status transitions are marked with a corresponding badge. In this way, when configuring, you can use filters to easily find out which permissions contain application statuses and or status transitions. |
Better | For each permission all contained application statuses are sorted by their process order so that they can be read in their logical order. Additionally, all application statuses now have a status icon for better readibility. |
Fixed | In one case a user could view an application because of it's appointment without having the necessary rights. |
Fixed | In some cases, when previewing a job advertisement, an HTML print could not be performed. |
v2021.10 (20.05.2021)
NEW | Romanian Language The d.vinci Applicant Tracking is now available in Romanian. |
Better | The Benefits field of the job publication and Approver field of the hiring request are now more responsive. This makes it easier to add further values. |
Fixed | Correspondence templates of deactivated languages were previously hidden and thus could not be deleted or detached from format templates. Correspondingly, format templates could not be deleted as long as dependencies to hidden correspondence templates existed. Therefore, correspondence templates of deactivated languages are now also displayed so that existing dependencies can be edited. |
v2021.9 (5/6/2021)
NEW | Send Job Advertisements with Zip-HTML and/or PDF Attachment For sending job advertisements, you can now set per job publication channel whether the job ad should be sent with a zipped HTML and/or PDF attachment. |
Better | The application status icons have been visually improved so that some of them have brighter colors (e.g. "Employed") and are easier to read. |
Better | When answering messages or sending infos, you can now send comments. |
Fixed | In some cases users could not be assigned with user groups. |
Fixed | Email attachment names with umlauts were not displayed correctly to the recipient. |
Fixed | In the hiring request, the Name/ Staff Number field was hidden under some circumstances. |
v2021.8 (4/22/2021)
NEW | Provide HR Contact Details You can provide contact details of the personnell department. With the necessary permission, users can access the contact details via the help menu. The contact details can also be displayed on the d.vinci login page. This way you can enable your d.vinci users to contact you quickly and easily. |
Better | There is a placeholder Job Publication - Employee Benefits (List) that displays benefits with titles and descriptions but without icons. This is useful when icons cannot be displayed correctly. |
Better | On the dashboard, recommendations are now displayed more quickly. Especially systems with many recommendations now benefit from faster loading times. |
Better | Until now, you could assign permissions in task definitions that were required to view the task. However, when copying the permission, the reference to the task definition was not copied along, since the copy of the permission has to be explicitly assigned in the task definition. To simplify this, you can now assign task definitions in permissions. This way, when you copy the permission, the references to assigned task definitions are also copied. |
Fixed | When zooming in the browser, umlauts of capital letters were not displayed correctly. |
v2021.7 (4/7/2021)
Better | The dashboard loading process following a login to d.vinci has been optimized. This results in performance improvements for dashboards with huge contents, as they now load much faster. |
Better | The Google for Jobs settings have been improved so that Google can more easily identify and display the correct job publication. |
v2021.6 (03/24/2021)
NEW | Transfer Form Fields via API When creating or editing form fields, you can specify wether that field is transferred via the application programming interface of the application portal. |
Better | The system recognizes incorrect spellings of e-mail addresses (e.g. spaces). This prevents applications with incorrect contact addresses from being saved. |
Fixed | When exporting Excel raw data reports, it could happen that fields were exported even though the exporting user did not have the necessary view rights for this (e.g. application rating). |
Fixed | An error could occur when deleting users if the user was selected as an approver of hiring requests. |
Fixed | It could happen that the photo of a user or a person could not be deleted. |
v2021.5 (03/11/2021)
NEW | Additional File Formats for Attachments Additional file formats are now valid for uploading attachments.
|
NEW | Automated Updating of SSO Metadata XML File For SSO use, administrators can specify a URL path from which the system retrieves the required metadata XML file from the identity provider. Previously, when the source file was renewed, administrators also had to renew the file retrieval. From now on, the system automatically and regularly checks the source file behind the URL path. If the system detects a change, it adopts the updated file. This makes SSO maintenance easier.
|
Better | The performance of displaying job advertisements in job portals has been increased. Job ads will now be displayed more quickly in job portals. |
Fixed | Icons were not displayed correctly in messages sent out of d.vinci. |
Fixed | When using Internet Explorer 11 it could occur that in d.vinci, cards with much content would overlap with other content. |
Fixed | Lists were not displayed correctly in messages sent out of d.vinci. |
Fixed | In some cases, the user menu would not close after it had been opened. Changing the language from within the user menu could cause time delays. |
Fixed | User photos with transparency were not displayed correctly in job advertisements. |
Note | In the last release the placeholder for creating a Microsoft Teams Meeting link was improved so that now it generates a linked text instead of simply returning the raw URL. |
v2021.4 (25.02.2021)
Besser | When sending appointments with calendar file (iCal) or with MS Teams meeting link, linked objects are displayed better:
This makes appointments with iCal file or MS Teams meeting link more comprehensible and visually appealing. |
Fixed | PDF files for job advertisements could not be generated if the application portal had any IP-policy. |
Fixed | When changing the status with correspondence dispatch, the Reply to Message placeholders preview did not work correctly. This did not affect the messages that were actually sent. |
Fixed | In the job publication, the placeholder-text Image From Job Advertisement in the Panorama field was not displayed correctly |
Fixed | The system pointed out missing translations for objects already deleted. |
Fixed | Users could not mark messages as done in message inboxes if they were not permitted to edit the application. |
Fixed | When using the Internet Explorer 11, a mouse-over on any status icon should display the status name but didn't. |
v2021.3 (2/11/2021)
NEW | Create PDF for Job Advertisements You can now create a PDF for job advertisements. This allows you to print the job advertisement or send it as PDF. |
Better | The Hiring Requests page now has a Creation Date filter. This allows you to specifically filter hiring requests that were created within a certain time period. |
Better | When creating/editing appointments and appointment surveys, you can now press the icon next to the Date/Time field to access the calendar. This makes using the field more intuitive. |
Fixed | In some cases creating a hiring request caused an error. |
Fixed | A logged-in user could not create job ad templates if the user's language was not a mandatory language and they did not specify a job ad title for that language. |
Fixed | In the task list, information about the same application was not displayed in one continuous line. |
Fixed | When viewing/editing reports, the name of the report was not displayed. |
Fixed | Users with only the Applications with Special Character "DIS: Severely Disabled Applicant" | view could not be selected as recipients of comments. This was also fixed in other places (e.g. receiving recommendations, being selected as participants of appointments). |
Fixed | In some cases, messages were marked as done by the system even though they were sent to message inboxes and had not been marked as done by any user. |
v2021.2 (1/28/2021)
NEW | Help Menu The small question mark in the lower right corner now offers a help menu. Depending on the setting and the displayed d.vinci page, you can access various help options here that can help you when working with d.vinci. Simply press the question mark to expand or collapse the menu. |
Besser | We have listened to your feedback and made a few improvements and corrections to the layout:
|
Fixed | Users with only the Recommendations | receive/ answer permission received an error message from the browser when logging in to d.vinci. |
Fixed | When a user pressed Cancel on page for changing the login password, an error occurred. |
Fixed | A hiring request can only be linked to a single job opening. If a closed hiring request with a linked job opening was reopened and a new job opening was selected, the new job opening was additionally linked instead of replacing the old one. This led to reference ambiguities, e.g. in reports. |
Fixed | When sending time-delayed e-mail, attached Microsoft PowerPoint files were not sent. |
Fixed | NoteThis issue has already been addressed in a hot fix prior to the current release. When opening system permissions, the Status Transitions tab was not displayed. |
Fixed | NoteThis issue has already been addressed in a hot fix prior to the current release. For correspondence templates with the placeholder New Appointment - Weekday, the placeholder was automatically removed when the correspondence template was selected during the status change. |
v2021.1 (01/14/2021)
NEW | Layout Improvements Now two weeks have passed since the turn of the year and you have given us a lot of feedback on the new layout. In addition to the many positive feedbacks, we have also received some requests for improvement, which we are addressing in this release. Your feedback is always welcome and appreciated so that we can continue to grow together and keep on optimizing your d.vinci.
|
NEW | Preview Email Correspondence Templates After this was already possible for document correspondences, you can now press the Preview button when conducting a status change with e-mail correspondence to get a visual preview of the outgoing email. The preview will also show all placedholders filled-in with the exception of some placeholders whose content will be generated only after the status change. In case of mass status change with outgoing correspondence, the preview is displayed only for the first email. This way you can view emails from the recipient's eyes before sending them. |
NEW | Initial Status for Manually Entered Applications Without Data Protection Consent When manually entering e.g. email applications or paper applications (via CV Parsing), the applicant's consent to the data protection texts may not be available. You can now assign such applications their own initial status (that you have previously created), e.g. Get Consent. If you do not check the checkboxes for data protection consent when entering an application, the application automatically receives the alternative initial status. Create a few additional statuses as well as manual or automated status transitions to round up your workflow. This way, you can integrate the process of collecting data protection consents into your d.vinci workflow and don't have to remember it. It also ensures that you remain within legal framework. |
Better | When parsing applications, users are advised to check whether the parsed data has been read and transferred correctly. In this way, users are made aware that parsing errors do occur, but can also be detected early by checking. |
Better | When using the d.vinci Events module, event observers receive additional viewing permissions for applications of event participants. So far, such applications as well as the underlying job openings were displayed on the event observers' dashboard. This has now been changed so that - similar to recommendations - event observers can only open additional applications within the event. This way, the event observers' dashboard is not overloaded and some data protection concerns are taken into account. |
Better | In forms, instead of the generic five free-text lines, a country-specific address format is now displayed for the country Bulgaria . |
Fixed | When transferring application data via LinkedIn, the profile photo of the applicant was temporarily not transferred. |
