Explanation of term
Target groups help convey a clear picture of which groups of people are suitable for a job opening. For example: students, graduates, professionals, and many more.
Configuration

System behavior
- Number of target groups
An unlimited number of target groups can be created. - Default target groups
The following target groups are included in your d.vinci system by default:- Professionals
- Graduates
- Students
- Pupils
- Others
- Sorting
Target groups are sorted in the order they are created. Other sorting options are available. - Show and hide in the job opening
Through the field schema configuration, the “Target Groups” field can be shown or hidden in the job opening and defined as a mandatory field. It is recommended to update target groups in all active job openings to ensure seamless reporting and accurate filters in the job list. This ensures that applicants see all relevant job openings. - Filtering in the job list
Applicants can filter by target group in the job list once this filter has been activated by you. - Send job advertisement
When sending job advertisements, the target group is also transmitted to job boards or other publishers. - Placeholders
Target groups can be used as placeholders (“Job Opening - Target Group”) in job advertisement templates and correspondence templates. - Filter in the job opening overview
Filtering job openings by target groups is possible. - Reporting
An evaluation of target groups can be done via the Excel raw data report, providing insights into the number of job openings per target group. - Modification
Target groups can be renamed at any time. The change is immediately reflected in all job openings where the target group is already used. - Deletion
Target groups can be deleted at any time. If the target group has already been selected in a job opening, it remains there until it is also deleted from that location.
How our customers use this
For most of our customers, the target group is a mandatory field in the job opening. It serves as a fundamental piece of information that allows filtering the job list on the website. Job boards also require this information.
