With screening questions, you can request additional information from applicants. Depending on your d.vinci system configuration, these questions can be visible only to you, be included in the application form, or linked to a questionnaire. The responses can be in text or selection format, depending on the type.
Create Screening Question
Follow these steps:
- Open the Screening Questions page.
- Click Screening Question.
- Fill out the form. Explanations of the terms can be found in the main article: Screening Questions

- Click Create. The Screening Question page with the entered details will be displayed. The help text, if entered, will appear in the Description section.
Define Answers
If you selected the type Answer List, you now need to define the answers. Otherwise, you are done creating the screening question after step 4.
Follow these steps:
- Click on the Answers tab within the created screening question. The Screening Question page with the Answers tab open will be displayed.
- Click the + Answer button. The Answer page will be displayed.
- Fill out the form:
- Answer
- Ranking Value*
- Click Create. The Screening Question page with the Answers tab open will be displayed.

- Order
It may be helpful to change the order of the screening questions, as they are displayed to the applicant in the same order as they appear in the screening questions section. - Access Restriction
It is possible to link screening questions to specific permissions. When creating such a question, simply select Restricted Access: Yes. Then choose a Permission that a user or group has to be able to view the question.
Example
Permission: HR Department Tasks (Standard)
This way, only users with the HR Department (Standard) role can view and answer the screening question.
