TABLE OF CONTENTS

Explanation of term

The job posting is the visible representation of the job/position you want to fill. This external representation consists of the following elements: layout, job advertisement template, job opening, and job publication.

Configuration

Since the job advertisement consists of various elements, all of these must be configured:

System behavior

  • Job Publications
Through the job publication and its job publication channels, job advertisements are transmitted to service providers, job boards, and others. Read more there.
  • Send Job Advertisement
You can use the Send job advertisement function in the job publication at the area Own Job Publication Channels to send it via email to colleagues or service providers.
  • Check job posting
In the job publication, you can use the button Job Advertisement to display a preview of how the job opening will appear to applicants or display it as a PDF. Learn more here: Display job advertisement as preview or PDF.
  • Settings in the application portal
To display a job advertisement, it must be activated in the application portal.
    You have several configuration options:
    • Job Advertisement - Yes
      • Fixed Job Advertisement Template - Yes
When creating a job publication, an individual job advertisement template can be selected. The selection in the publication will be overridden by the one in the application portal.
      • Fixed Job Advertisement Template - No
The job advertisement template selected here will be displayed if no specific job advertisement template is selected in the job publication. In this case, the selection in the job publication overrides the application portal's selection.
    • Job posting activated - No
When selecting any job opening, applicants are directly redirected to the application form. The back button is hidden in the application form. If the job posting is activated, it redirects applicants back to the job posting.
  • Job list
    • The job advertisement appears with the title of the job publication (position) in the job list. When applicants click on the list entry, they are directed to the job advertisement.
    • The job advertisement can be marked as "new" and displayed at the top of the list. Learn more here: Display job ad at the top of the job list / mark as NEW.
  • Open Graph Tags
The following Open Graph Tags (for display on Facebook and Twitter) are embedded in the job postings and output via the interface:
    • title: Page title of the publication
    • description: Short description of the publication
    • image: Selected media image in the publication
    • url: Shortened unique URL, e.g., https://url.dvinci.de/en/jobs/81

How our customers use this

As soon as you activate a job publication in an active job opening and at least one job publication channel, your job advertisement becomes externally visible. Before publishing through the publication channel, the appearance is checked using the preview in the job publication, which is accessible via the button Job Advertisement.
