Service - Full-Service Job Posting

We recommend posting via our media team. The team supports you with job posting, from text creation, spell-checking, and AGG compliance to job board recommendations and quota management. Interested? Contact us.


Without consultation, you can post via our multiposting or use your own framework agreements via API to StepStone. The use of StepStone Quick-Apply is also possible.


There are several things to consider when displaying your job postings via the StepStone API.


Configuration

Read here what is needed to connect a job board with d.vinci (own quota).

  • The organizational unit of the application portal for StepStone must be at the same level or above the organizational unit of the job posting. Otherwise, the ad cannot be displayed on StepStone.
  • StepStone requires your job ad to use Liquid Design.
  • StepStone stores your company logo in your StepStone company profile. Unfortunately, we have no control over these contents. If the logo needs updating, please contact StepStone.
  • You should inform StepStone how you want the job retrieval from d.vinci to be handled.


Data Transfer

  • Placeholders
    The following placeholders must be included in the introduction of job ads for StepStone. Otherwise, the contents of these sections will not be displayed on StepStone.

    • {JOB_PUBLICATION:POSITION}
    • {JOB_PUBLICATION:SUBTITLE}
    • {JOB_OPENING:LOCATION}
    • {JOB_OPENING:CONTRACT_PERIOD}
    • {JOB_OPENING:WORKING_TIME}
  • Information you enter in the field Subtitle in d.vinci will be displayed directly in the title on StepStone.

    Example:

    Position: Technician as Work Planner

    Subtitle: In the Recycling Sector

    Job title on StepStone: Technician as Work Planner In the Recycling Sector

  • Start Date
    Some job boards request information about the candidate's earliest possible start date. However, this is not mandatory for StepStone. You can leave this field empty.
    If you want to specify it, enter it under Earliest Start Date. It will then appear as "earliestEntryDate" in the job board API.

  • Benefit Icons
    Benefit icons cannot be displayed on StepStone. In Liquid Design for StepStone, only the placeholder Publication - Benefits (List) ({JOB_PUBLICATION:BENEFITS_LIST}) should be used.

  • Images
    StepStone can display up to three header images in a slider.


StepStone Quality Requirements

  • Job Title
    For various positions, StepStone expects specific quality standards. For example, for sales positions, the job title should specify what is being sold.
    If you have questions, we recommend discussing them with our media team or your StepStone contact person.
  • Company Description
    A company description is required that outlines the core mission of your business.
  • Links
    Links are only allowed in the contact section.
  • Tasks/Requirements/Benefits
    The content of these sections must not be mixed.


Job Ad Appearance

  • Time Delay
    When you activate the publication channel for StepStone, the job ad appears with a delay.
  • Updates
    Changes to the publication are automatically applied after some time.
  • New Publications
    Depending on your agreement with StepStone, a new publication may require creating a new job posting.


Reporting

  • StepStone can provide you with an Excel file containing your job postings for reporting purposes. If it is not displayed correctly, ask StepStone to read the Reference value from the API.
